In addition to hearing an update from Principal Montaquila, we’ll share updates from the PTA, talk about what we have planned for the school year ahead, and preview some of the programs, fundraisers and events coming up for our families.

We also have several important items for our members to review and vote on:

1. 2025–2026 PTA Audit
   Review and approval of the FHES PTA annual financial audit, which was completed over the summer.
2. 2026–2027 PTA Budget
   Review and approval of our operating budget for the current school year.
3. Officer Term Limits
   Vote on a proposed update increasing the maximum consecutive service for elected officers from two to four one-year terms. Officers would continue to be nominated and elected annually. This change would give the PTA more flexibility when volunteers are willing to continue serving, help address the challenge of filling board positions, and allow us to retain the experience gained by returning board members.
4. General Membership Meeting Schedule
   Vote on reducing the required number of General Membership Meetings from seven to four per school year. With historically low attendance at many meetings, we hope a streamlined quarterly schedule will help us focus on fewer, more meaningful meetings and encourage stronger participation when we do meet.
